The local community of Bumpe Chiefdom have donated a piece of land to Real Aid.  Real Aid is providing the resources to enable the locals to build a rice store themselves, they will even make their own bricks – providing much needed training and employment opportunities.

 The store will be large enough to provide food security for the whole community for the foreseeable future.

‘REDUCING DISEASE IN AFRICA’

Real Aid have a  successful  agricultural   program in the Bumpe Chiefdom,  Sierra Leone. This project enables the local community to grow rice to feed their families.  We aim to help families within this community by giving them wellies to reduce the spread of the parasitic  disease which spreads through the soil causing preventable illness to the field workers. 

Thank you for donating your old  WELLIES . . . we will continue to collect these throughout the year.  These can be taken to any of our  Real Aid shops and warehouse.
